George Jiao, MD
Dr. Jiao graduated cum laude from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering, and was inducted into Tau Beta Pi Honors Society. He graduated medical school from the State University of New York - Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. He completed a Transitional Year at St Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, NY. He completed his ophthalmology residency training at Northwell Health Eye Institute in Great Neck, NY, where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Jiao joined RCM in 2024 to complete his fellowship in Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery. He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Retina Specialists.
